BGI has a variety of platforms for comprehensive research on all aspects of phenotypic traits of animals and plants at DNA, RNA, Epigenetics, and other levels. BGI also conducts mass spectrometry at the proteomics level to discover the scientific problems in animal and plant research, to detect genes related to Agronomic traits closely related to human beings, and to study the physiological mechanisms of plant and animal evolution, dresistance, stress resistance andreproductive development. This helps to explore the diversity of genetic resources for breeding, and lay a solid theoretical foundation improve the animal and plant breeding process.
