BGI Group signed a trilateral partnership Memorandum of Understanding with the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Astana Medical University.
The agreements include a trilateral partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by BGI with the Medical Center Hospital of the President’s Affairs Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Astana Medical University. These collaborative agreements will enable the introduction of innovative medical technologies, the development of new healthcare programs for prenatal, neonatal, carrier, and oncology screening, and the establishment of a premier genomics research institute in Kazakhstan.
The Medical Center Hospital in Kazakhstan, renowned for its clinical excellence and efficient management, is a vital partner in these initiatives. The hospital is dedicated to integrating innovative projects and technologies, ensuring the highest standards of medical care quality and safety. It also focuses on optimizing operational procedures and modernizing the treatment process.
Astana Medical University, one of the largest medical universities in Kazakhstan and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, is another key collaborator. The university has earned a top position in academic rankings and will play a significant role in advancing precision medicine in the region.
In addition, BGI Group has extended its cooperation into Uzbekistan by signing a collaboration agreement with a local partner. This agreement will deepen cooperation in the field of precision medicine and contribute to healthcare development in the region.
